With summer drawing to a close and school starting up, we thought now would be a good time to post the results from the summer survey. Thanks so much to everyone for taking the time to fill it out. I have found it so helpful to hear thoughts directly from residents, including specific concerns about our schools, development in our village centers, and our neighborhoods to name a few. The compiled results of the survey are listed here:
Schools – 37% of respondents said that education was one of their top priorities. Read more about my plan for schools here.

Character of our Neighborhoods – 44% of respondents said that maintaining and preserving the nature of our neighborhoods was one of their top priorities for them. Read more about my plan for Newton’s communities here.

Streets and Sidewalks – 55% of respondents said that making our streets and sidewalks safer was a top priority for them. Read more about my plan for Newton’s roads here.
Affordable Housing – 28% of respondents said that creating affordable housing options was one of their top priorities. Read more about my plan for housing here.
